Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using ChemVentIAQ or any other AeroLogic Labs software or purchasing a license. By downloading, installing, or using the software, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the software.


1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of ChemVentIAQ and any other software products developed and distributed by AeroLogic Labs ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our software, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement.

Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the software on macOS devices that you own or control, solely for your personal or professional air quality assessment purposes.

AeroLogic Labs software is available as a one-time purchase. All prices are listed in USD. Purchases are final and non-refundable except where required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing at any time without notice.

4. Early Access

Early access versions of our software may contain bugs or incomplete features. We make no guarantee that early access builds will be stable or suitable for production use. By signing up for or using early access, you acknowledge and accept this. Early access participants may receive discounted pricing in exchange for their feedback.

5. Updates

Purchases include free updates for 12 months from the date of purchase. After that period, major version updates may require an additional purchase. Bug fixes and security patches will be provided at our discretion.

6. Professional Use Disclaimer

ChemVentIAQ and other AeroLogic Labs software products are tools intended to assist qualified professionals in performing air quality assessments and dispersion modeling. The software uses EPA-approved atmospheric dispersion models and publicly available health threshold data, but the outputs are modeling estimates only. Results should be reviewed and interpreted by a qualified industrial hygienist, environmental consultant, or licensed professional engineer before being used in regulatory submissions, safety planning, or health assessments.

AeroLogic Labs makes no warranty that the outputs of any model within the software will be accepted by any regulatory agency or that they are appropriate for any specific regulatory purpose.

7. Privacy

ChemVentIAQ processes all air quality analysis locally on your Mac. No project data, session files, or personal information are transmitted to our servers. For complete details, please review our Privacy Policy.

8. Intellectual Property

AeroLogic Labs, ChemVentIAQ, their names, logos, and all associated intellectual property are owned by AeroLogic Labs. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. EPA AERMOD, SCREEN3, and other referenced government models are the property of the United States Environmental Protection Agency and are used pursuant to their public distribution terms.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The software is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with all systems. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose of any modeling outputs produced by the software. Use of the software is at your own risk.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, AeroLogic Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the software, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of revenue, regulatory penalties, or damage to project files. This limitation applies regardless of whether such damages were foreseeable or whether AeroLogic Labs was advised of their possibility.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Dallas County, Texas.

12. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the software after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
